Hiawatha Broadband Ends Pursuit of Fiber for Red Wing

Hiawatha Broadband announced yesterday that it will not be applying for second round stimulus funds for the Red Wing fiber initiative.  It appears that Charter is about to roll out 60 Mbps service here.  Related?  Not sure, should know more later today.  With no Plan B in place, where does this leave Red Wing?

Update: Charter confirmed that Red Wing is about 60 days out from upgrade to 60 Mbps service.
