Is a hotel (resort) in the works at Mississippi National? – Post Bulletin

Its time for Sen. Howe and Rep. Kelly to pull their support of the legislation approving the sale of MNGL until such time as the Council officially acts by way of a resolution. What possibly could be their support for a bill that was never approved by the City Council?

I wonder how it feels today to be a Red Wing City Council member and not have a clue as to what is going on with this sale.

“Red Wing city officials testified before the Minnesota Legislature last week saying the potential sale of Mississippi National Golf Links to Wendell Pittenger has been an open and transparent process.”

Transparent government requires action. How much of the green space would be lost to this Hotel and parking lot? Seems less information from the city and more information via Rochester Post, leaves you wondering how much more the city council, and positions of authority within, are keeping from the public.
